The Queen’s Ball Bridgerton Experience

I was fortunate to recently attend The Queen’s Ball, an interactive Bridgerton Experience at the historic Millennium Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles. My beautiful friend Nathaly, AKA La Casa de Flores was my date and she constructed us lovely hairpieces in hopes of catching the eye of the Queen.

We arrived early which afforded up the opportunity to take some photos in the historic foyer and other locations around the hotel.

After checking in and having our ID and vaccination cards reviewed, we were invited to check out the boutique.

The boutique was not very impressive. They had some pieces from the Pat McGrath X Bridgerton collection, but sadly did not have the lipstick which was something I’d hoped to pick up.

Our group started at 3:00 PM, and we were let in promptly at 3:00. I’ve purposely omitted any major spoilers from this review, but please watch the short video above if you want to get a better feel for the overall vibe of the event.

Once you enter through the floral archway, you’re handed the latest edition of Lady Whistledown’s Society Papers to update you on the latest gossip in the ton.
Upon entering you’ll be immersed in the Bridgerton theme. There are costumes used in the show on display and the first of many bars appears.
The drinks were all themed to Bridgerton and were quite tasty.

Also upon entry you’ll have the first of several photo ops with crystal beads designed to simulate rain. (At least that was my assumption.) You can see the photo op in action here.

The Bridgerton Experience is extremely well-done with fabulous pacing due in part to the fact that you are frequently changing scenery by filtering through a total of 3 large rooms throughout the experience.

The first location feature the entryway, bar, photo op, ad costumes.

The second room has a thrown that is unattended for an amount of time before the festivities start allowing for photo ops.

As you can probably see, Nathaly and I went a little non-traditional with out outfits. We wanted the Bridgerton vibe but didn’t want to shell out to buy or rent authentic costumes so we just repurposed some clothes we already owned. Fun fact, I had to sew the zipper shut on my cheap Shein dress as it broke right before we were to leave.

I decided to wear sneakers as I recently injured my hip and thought heels might be uncomfortable. That turned out to be a good choice as we were standing the entire hour and a half. For those with VIP tickets there’s reserved seating once you get into the third room, but you’re also slightly removed from the action so I’m not sure in most cases the VIP experience is worth the extra cost unless you really want to sit the last half an hour or so.

The third ballroom area is where the main “show” takes place which is comprised of dancing and other show elements.

Overall we felt like we got great value for our money and the time went by super quickly. If you’re a fan of Bridgerton it’s a really fun distractions and one of the best immersive events I’ve attended.
