New Year’s Eve LA Noir at the Los Angeles Millennium Biltmore
The stunning Millennium Biltmore in downtown Los Angeles was the perfect backdrop for a New Year’s Eve to remember as a stunning group of well-dressed revelers welcomed 2023.
Aside from omnipresent iPhones, you might think you’d stepped back in time to the 1920’s
This historic hotel is celebrating its 100th birthday in 2023 and it was easy to feel transported to a different era immediately. While 1920’s attire was norm, fabulous attire with nods to all eras could be seen throughout the night. Many attendees made their own outfits and it was obvious that this event brought out the best of the brightest and creative talents from the LA area together in one location.
Inspired attire from all including Glimmerwood and Nightmerecosplay who sewed their custom gowns for the occassion
Over 40 performers brought the 1920’s to life throughout 2 ballrooms and spilling into the main hallway as attendees awaited the countdown to the New Year.
Actress Kelsey “Van_Kelsing” acts out one of the storylines that played out over the extent of the evening
All of LA’s best and brightest stopped by LA Noir at The Biltmore to have a glass (or two) of champagne and enjoy the ample festivities.
So many great photo ops all over the hotel (everything was looking a little blurry by this point in the night, I promise this photo is an accurate depiction)
Jeannie (hernameisjeannie) sipping champagne in an actual speakeasy that was unearthed during recent renovations
One of the highlights on the night was touring an actual speakeasy off of the Goldroom Ballroom- while legally sipping on champagne.
It’s hard to imagine that drinking was actually illegal in the 1920’s
Photo ops everywhere!
